  • The school is 100% supported by tuition fees.

  • Montessori education focuses on hands-on learning and self-directed activities. Homework is not a central part of this approach. Instead, children engage in purposeful work in the classroom. Montessori emphasizes a balance between school and home life, encouraging time for family activities and unstructured play.

  • We cannot offer reduced tuition to new students to ensure we can operate, pay our staff fairly and carry on for many years! We have strong aspirations to offer reduced tuition to more students in the future; however, we have to ensure we can provide a stable, consistent education for the children already in our community.

  • Yes! You can sign your child up for optional, ongoing or drop-in after-school care for an additional fee.

  • The facility has a spacious parking lot, which will make it easy for caregivers to park while dropping off or collecting their child. Family members are welcome to come inside at drop off and pick up.

  • No.

  • Please see Outdoor and Experiential Learning and our Lower and Upper Elementary Curriculum pages for detailed explanations of how nature/outdoor and experiential learning will weave into the program.

  • A common refrain in outdoor education is, "There is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing choices." That said, during heavy rain or extreme cold, we will move the program into the gymnasium or classroom.

  • When we are aware that a child is transitioning out of Montessori education, we work with them to be prepared for a smooth academic transition.
